West Brom claim 2-1 rare win at Stoke

STOKE, England(AP) West Bromwich Albion ended 30 years without a win at Stoke with a 2-1 victory that also lifted it a little further away from the English Premier League relegation zone on Saturday.

West Brom pulled the win out in injury time for its first win at Stoke since September 1982, and to end a three-match losing run in the league.

James Morrison, who hit the posts twice, scored the opener in the first half when Stoke goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen failed to handle a 30-meter (yard) strike straight at him.

Stoke equalized through substitute Cameron Jerome in the 86th, but Graham Dorrans found the net in stoppage time with a 25-meter free kick, handing eighth-placed Stoke it's first home loss since mid-November.
